Lonely moon

No mom, I am not talking about getting kicked off the school bus for mooning that car.......

If you haven't already heard, it is time for another fiction writing contest. Jason Evans from The Clarity of night is teaming up this time with USA Today best selling author Anne Frasier. The idea is to write a piece of fiction in 250 words or less inspired by a picture that is posted over at Jason's site. The deadline for entry is Tuesday, August 29th at 11pm(EST). I will post my entry later on this week. Even if you don't plan to enter, head on over and read the many entries. If past contests are any indication, plenty of them will be quite good. For more details, you can find the link in my sidebar or just click HERE.

By the way, If you HAVEN'T heard about this already, SHAME ON YOU! You are supposed to read my blog everyday and twice on Sundays and I posted about it a few days ago. Just kidding obviously.....

not twice on Sundays.

Well of course not twice on Sundays. That's just crazy talk. Did you enter the last contest? I can't wait to see what you come up with.

WB,

Yes, I entered the last contest. It is entry #25 over at Jason's if I remember correctly. Or you can check a slightly modified version below if you want. (without that horrid 1st sentence)

The contest before that,I didn't enter because I didn't know about it. I was still very much in my blogging diapers at that time.lol
great to see you as usual.

Good for you! I entered a blog writing contest a few months ago and came in the top three. It was a great motivator. Not sure if I've got the time to enter this one, but I'll follow the link and watch for your entry. Good luck!

So I found your link on Barmaid Blog. Which I found on Waiter Rant. It's amazing how these things tend to snowball. I haven't read back through your archive yet, but it appears we're to some extent on the same evil warped frequency. Heh heh. I might try to enter this if I get the chance this weekend, but whether I manage it or not, the best of luck. You're writing is good enough to take the title, if they can handle your sense of humor. >>Evil Grin<<

Yours is the second blog I have read tonight that has mentioned school buses, and I just wrote about one. Weird.

Thanks for the heads-up on the contest!

Have you written your story yet? I'm trying to write mine right now and it's not going so hot. Most of the stories seem to be about vampires and the undead but it's been a while since I spoke to my ex-boyfriend so I've kind of forgotten what it's like.

Kim and Normikins: thanks I am going to give it a shot at least.

Michael: Welcome, good to see you here. Thanks for the kind words, and hope you come back for more.

Michelle:did I mention something about school busses? Oh boy, here comes that short term memory loss thing I have always heard about. lol

Rebecca: Have I written it in my head? yes more or less. Have I managed to get it down on paper? ummmmmmm in a word NO! As usual my stories are like a new bottle of ketchup. I know it is there but trying to get it to come out sometimes doesn't happen. Then when it finally does it makes a big mess!
