Moving

I am in the process of becoming an official BIFFY-ite. I may very well be dead center in the middle of no where. Just kidding. I KNOW I won't have internet for at least a week or 10 days. Have to show them all the other spiffy new inventions first.

Things like,

Running water.....

electricity......

the wheel......

Sliced bread.....

you get the idea.

Quick observations about living in the country that I have picked up on already.

1: Country bugs are a hell of a lot bigger and meaner than city bugs. I stepped on a beetle, and I swear it shook it off and went on about his way. I think he may have even laughed at me.

2: Stars........Kind of neat to see them somewhere other than on television.

3: Remember the questions I sent out to the universe a couple of weeks ago? Apparently, the universe is trying to send me some answers. I am seeing wild rabbits pretty much every night I go to the new house. One was even sitting on my front porch and barely blinked when I climbed my steps. If he is there again tonight, I am getting some damned answers!

Random thoughts:

1)-I'm sitting in Krystals (in my former hometown), typing up this post. The guy two tables over has used the word "exactly" no less than 8 times in the 11 minutes he has been here.

Example: "I know exactly what that girl is like."

"I know exactly where she comes from, her family, friends, her type."

"I know exactly where he was and with who."

"I will tell you exactly what to do."

2)-"I will stop in Krystals on my way to my last trip to the old place(hopefully) for a few minutes" has turned quickly into "it's been an hour and damn I am comfortable, I don't wanna'.

3)- Recently overheard conversation

Jim: "what do you usually get when you eat at taco bell?

Larry: "I usually get a burrito, and two tacos."

Eddie: "Oh man, I ALWAYS get three tacos, and cinnamon krisps."

Jim: "what about you Jenny?"

Jenny: "what do I always get?" (short pause)..............."Diarreah."

If I don't see you before then, have a good week everyone.

I hope the move goes smoothly.

I lived in the country once. Actually, it probably wansn't technically the country given that I could get "into town" in about 15 minutes, but it was far out enoungh for me. My advice...when you get field mice in your house, just sweet them out the door with a broom. Those little bastards outsmart the traps and the cat/dog gets so used to seeing them that the rodents get ingnored.

I sort of live in the country, and I see all sorts of wildlife in the pool filter every morning.

I was on a plane ride, and the guy behind me thought everything was "amazing." He said the word at least twenty times, and WOULDN'T SHUT UP! I wanted to kill, Kill, KILL!

It is kind of fun to see stars when in the country, you kind of forget to look up when your close ot a big city, because you just don't see any!

The best way to eat Taco Bell is to throw it directly into the toliet, don't even bother unwrapping it!

The country is a great place to visit, but not sure I could live in a place where the cockroach sit on the porch and want to join you for a glass of lemonade!

The meat at Taco Bell is grade D...Alpo equivalent

welcome to my way of life. :-) you're gonna love it out here.

a week gives me plenty of time to come up with a few posts for you to catch up on when you reconnect.

you just might regret that smart-assed remark over at my place. ;-)

I hope your move goes very smoothly! If it doesn't, eat some taco bell. I've heard it helps.

What's a 'biffy'?

Happy moving, BD! Everyone I know is moving...I suppose I'm next. :p (I don't think I've blogged about my "2-year itch" and the moving syndrome I have. August will be two years and I'm frankly scared)!

I love living in the country, and I want that to be my next move. Keep a sledge hammer nearby for those pesky, bumbling June bugs that scare the crap out of you!

Taco Bell: 2-3 soft tacos (beef or steak) supremes. And I don't get sick.

Most remembered overused word: Anne who was a friend of a friend who couldn't quit using the word "ominous" at any chance. Luckily, my friend had warned me about this ominous quirk before I met Anne.

:P

See you on the country side...

Good luck with the move. (Damn, seems like I'm saying that a lot lately).

I love the country. In fact, where I live, though it is probably way too country for most people, for me, it isn't enough.

And you're right about the bugs. Be careful about falling asleep outside. You might wake up tied down like Gulliver, only it will be a bunch of spiders instead of tiny people. No shit.
